Merchant City Festival

Travelled into the city this morning to see the festival.   It was a bit quiet, the busy times are always at the weekends, but I can't make it then.   However, it was fun, with lots of painting and artwork for children, street entertainment (the guys dressed as car mechanics singing 'Carmen' were superb!).  Lots of food stalls and all sorts of trinkets for sale as is usual at these events. 

Had a nice wee lunch in Lily's, then headed home on the bus!

The rain stayed off although it threatened several times.  But I had my trusty brolly just in case!
