Saturday: Celebration Of Light

We took a bit of a drive this morning to get our bearings. While out and about we popped into a garage that had some cars we were interested in and, unsurprisingly, we now have a completely different idea of what we want.....

The highlight of the day was heading over to Virginia and Eric's (Goatee and Folkie's) aunt and uncle to join them in watching Vancouver's 'Celebration of Light', an amazing firework display. We began the evening with a very lovely picnic in the grounds of their bowling club, which afforded us excellent views without the crowds. It was a fantastic evening.

We have been a bit worried about Fred as he has been really off today - hiding under the bed and not eating (not like at him at all....). We were worried leaving him but he seems a lot better this evening (if not quite 100%).
