Friday: Yaletown

Tonight we decided to explore Yaletown, an area that is known for its bars, restaurants and general ambience. It certainly lived up to expectations - there does seem to be lots to explore. It's also easy for us to reach - a short bus ride and a few stops on the Canada Line.

We had a few craft beers and then stayed in the same bar for something to eat. We sat next to a pretty loud group of 4 who spent the whole time criticising their absent friend, Shannon (it's a measure of how loud and persistent they were that I picked up both the name and the subject). When we left I really wish I had had the courage to tell them that if I was Shannon I would not want to be their friend.
