Dragonfly....

There were bad storms across the state a few days before I left on vacation, but the northern part of the state, which was where I was heading, had the worst of it--torrential rains and winds of 90 mph which blew trees down all over the place. My sister's cottage was without power for several hours, but was otherwise unharmed, however some places sustained a lot of damage when trees hit the buildings. My brothers' cottage isn't far from my sisters', so after I arrived we drove over to make sure his place was OK (it was). I walked out on the dock to look at the lake, & this dragonfly flew past & landed in front of me--it never moved as I kept coming closer and closer. :)
