About Blooming Time

A becalmed day of waiting and not much action, waiting for children to pick up messages and tell me where they were and when they would grace my doorstep tomorrow, or even if they will grace my doorstep tomorrow.

Acting on the premiss that they will, the orange soup requested for two fussy young eaters was made ( butternut squash and carrot as it turns out, when asked) and ingredients for wraps bought, together with all the bad things that only Grandparents can offering visiting grandchildren, like crisps and lemonade.
I still await the visitors agenda, while His Lordship, unused to the ways of a large family, would much rather have things cut and dried like a military manoeuvre and no messing.

This flowering succulent gracing the table of a local hostelry was the only thing catching the attention of my camera today.
