Not Windows XP

I thought this view looked familiar ...

Took a cruise down the Li River today. It's a big tourist attraction in the Karst region because of the famous limestone hills so there was a flotilla of cruise boats plus dozens of bamboo rafts in a long, snaky line heading up and down the river channel. And the scenery is fantastic, I used up yet another memory card in the camera, just 2 left now (though I suspect I might find more here if I look hard enough).

It was so hot in Yungshuo at the end of the cruise that we forced into an ice-lolly and cold beer combo. Highly recommended!
Couldn't really walk about exploring 'cos of the heat so we took the optional countryside tour which was OK but reminded us why we don't do tours! And I did get to take the Windows XP picture from the Golden Dragon Bridge in Fuli village..

And so to dinner; roast pork and Franziskaner weissbier in our new, favourite restaurant. The supporting fried rice and aubergine & beans were outstanding! I'm stuffed!
