Nothing happens here...

Good old IKEA

These IKEA shelf units are idea for storing some of my Port Appin model collection.  They're sturdy, fairly cheap and easy to assemble.  After yesterday's Blips by Paula and I and the resulting comments I thought it might be interesting to some of you to see more of the location.

In this view you can see part of a 12,000 print collection I bought a few years ago and am still transferring to digital images and some slides recently converted.  I have a website with 17,000 bus pics from around the world stored in it and many more thousands to load up.

The top row shows some fire engine models, many of the cars seen on Port Appin and three compartments of West Coast Motors models.

The second row shows some models yet to assemble and paint 'my stockpile', then the haulage fleet, mostly modified to fit Scottish scenes, then some non West Coast Motors models, a collection of vans and a collection of tractors and trailers.

More models, lake district books and modelling materials complete the picture.  The eagle eyed will spot my Bus Stop sign, a gift from son Ali.
