Sunset on the Week

Our last day on the Canal-du-Midi. It was an easy day after the staircase of locks at Beziers just after 8am this morning. We stopped for a quick shop in the city and then cracked on towards our final destination of Port Cassafières. A few locks later we arrived. It was late afternoon and we all headed for the beach. Perfect timing as we avoided the hottest part of the day, it's been another super hot one. We didn't leave the beach until nearly 8pm!

A final dinner on the boat, a very tasty chilli (thanks to David and Fred) followed by a special cake to celebrate Rosie's upcoming birthday on Sunday (she will be 15). A super sunset over the boat moorings made a fitting close to our week. Tomorrow we will start the journeys home, some quicker than others!!
