Grapes of Wine

Today, we sadly said goodbye to the serenity of the Douro Valley and this lovely wine grove next to our hotel. We headed south to Cascais (otherwise known as 'Lisbon by the Coast') a buzzy resort & mainly summer residence of wealthy Lisboetas.

Here, we were greeted by the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean, which soon put a smile back on my face.

I love the feeling of freedom the ocean brings, but the mountains and rolling hills will always hold a place in my heart - particularly the ones with grapes of wine.
