Nice Spot For A BBQ
We had a leisurely start to the day filling up with water, electricity and provisions before leaving Homps around mid-morning. After a trouble free set of locks, we stopped and climbed for the viewpoint at Pechlaurier extending our stay for lunch. Then it was onward and through various twists and turns including the canal bridge of Répudre, completed in 1676, the first ever built in France and reputed to be the second in the world. We stopped for a cooling river swim before finding this gorgeous spot to moor for the night (the view in the blip). We had BBQ dinner, Annie did a great job with fresh burgers and sausages we bought this morning. Another wonderful day.
