Deep in Thought

The third consecutive day of spectacular weather on our journey along the Canal-du-Midi. Today felt like the hottest yet, we've certainly got some colour.

We've had the fun of double and triple locks today but the biggest lock event was getting stuck in one when the power failed and it was half open. Some engineers were very quickly on the scene with a generator to allow us to escape!

Tonight we're moored in Homps and everyone except me (Chris) has been swimming in one of the nearby lakes, I got pre-occupied watching a kite surfer. We then had a lovely lakeside dinner.

The blip was caught early this morning in one of the small sleepy towns. I've enjoyed catching photos from the boat but you have to shoot it when you see it as even at this speed, scenes are passed very quickly!
