Concarneau beach
What a fantastic day. We cycled 30 odd miles, first stopping at Bannalac for coffee. It was a small bustling town. Very pretty. Then on to Pont Aven famous for its artistic inspirations - Gauguin. Very touristy but very pretty. We had lunch more crepes easy for veggies, then had a mooch around the market - I bought a new folding picnic knife.
Another few miles brought us to concarneau where we are camped.. After a delicious camp dinner of pasta, artichokes, olives, and cheese we devoured a bottle of wine on the beach. Just sitting there a Dutch fisherman shouted out that there was a dolphin in the bay. Wow it was fantastic to see it, briefly, but the first time either of us had seen one in the wild. Ahhhh a fab day
