Moulin on the Tasman Glacier

While skiing the Tasman Glacier we passed scenes like this

The moulin formed as part of the glacier's internal 'plumbing' system, to drain melt water. The moulin most likely formed several years ago when higher up the glacier.  The glacier moves about a metre each day.
