That's what the lead singer said, as she finished her first song. We arrived as late as we could, but it was still 36C when we got to the venue at 8:15, and the needle barely budged all night. Luckily, the concert was fantastic--Pink Martini and the National Symphony Orchestra. The best part was that the tickets were free! I won a competition on NPR. Also, the National Park Service is a civilised institution that allows you to bring a picnic and wine. It was a lovely evening.
