Danger

With temperatures of 38C (and 60% humidity, which the forecasters told us made it feel like 47C), we headed to the 'beach'. The less said about said 'beach' the better, but let's just say that it was very expensive, there was no water deep enough to swim in, and what there was was slimy. Still, a nearby restaurant with air-conditioning and no shortage of delicious seafood provided great hospitality for a few hours, so it turned into a very pleasant day altogether.

Wrong lens, as you can see. I wasn't thinking of ospreys, but the place was lousy with them. Lousy, I tell you. Flying over us with fish in their claws.

Ice-cream was had, but not of the 99 persuasion. I'll be making up for that in spades for the next couple of weeks.
