BudaPestering...

Well I finally got around to, well Mrs TFP got on the case and organised getting me across to Budapest where I've been meaning to visit for the last 12 months.

Best way to see the city?  Being led round by a local.  When he asked me what I'd like to do, I asked if we coudl go see the nice parts of the city that normal tourism doesn't get to see.

He didn't disappoint.  We had langos (a traditional fired bread dish which I really need to work out how to make) on the island in the middle of the Danube, took a boat bus back into town, saw the Basillica, parliment and a whole load of other stuff, topped off with a bit of Wii and Playstation.

Pretty much a perfect start to a fancy long weekend.
