First use of the fire pit

The typical Saturday. Tea in bed first thing, breakfast, walk into town, coffee and a few bits and pieces, walk home, lunch, down to the allotment, home for cup of tea, cook dinner, have shower and get dressed up (relatively smartly for me) for dinner.

Chris and De'Shaun gave me a fire pit for my birthday. This was the first opportunity to use it as it'd been too hot until tonight. Not that it was cold, just cooler, so it was very nice to sit beside after dinner (roasted veg, fish, green beans and potatoes, much of it from the allotment)

We were entertained outside by the Ramblin' Man Fair in Mote Park, a festival of classic and prog rock, country and blues music. While we were eating dinner Thin Lizzy were belting out Whiskey in the Jar. Quite an interesting line up of bands.
