Make Mine A Guinness

An unexpected evening, which left me a bit blip-less and yes, alcohol was involved - but not the black stuff. With twilight fast becoming night proper, I took a chance on the new illuminated water cascade that unendingly returns the filtered water to the garden pond. 

The lights are amazing and only 2W. I may end up putting a switch on them - let's face it I'm the bloke who turned off all the streetlights - but for now the twinkle of the water over the LEDs is hypnotic. The pond is almost finished now, with only a little more pointing and the permanent fit of the cascade left. And the water is clearing day by day (phew!).

So off to bed, perchance to sleep - a thing that has not occurred for the past three or four hot humid nights...
