G is part of a group that is off to listen to a concert in this church tonight.  I'm afraid I know nothing of the vocal talents of Christian Gerhaher.  And it's probably better for everyone if I stay home and feed the cats and do some dishes.

One of my problems with really good classical singers is I can't hear the words.  I just hear a procession of sounds that might be words but without a script, I have no idea.  Music that speaks to me builds beautiful pictures in my head but, sadly, it doesn't work for me with music like this.

Mind you I can quite happily listen to this and not worry about it at all.

Maybe I am just odd though.

I can recommend visiting the church if you are in Wiesbaden.  It doesn't look like much from outside but there's a lot of things to enjoy inside.
