Mayson the Chef

Had the pleasure of our oldest grandson for a sleep over today, and so heralds all kinds of fun things to do.  One of my favorite things is to cook with them, and so M and I set out to create our complete dinner and dessert, starting with Chicken Makhani with home made naan bread.  Here he is with L salivating and ready to dive into his dinner, which he helped make.  He had already licked the spoon and the pan clean before we got to the table, and one of the extras shows what happened to the dinner.

We also made adult lego, watched Kung Fu Panda 3 and for dessert we made Vanilla bean custard ice cream with caramel sauce - se extra extra.  Great evening and good food - looking forward to when I can sip cocktails on the porch in my rocking chair while he makes the whole thing!
