VisitingTall Ship

This is the Hawaiian Chieftain now moored at the harbor in Bellingham Bay. She's the companion ship to the Lady Washington due to arrive tomorrow. Both ships are operated by the Grays Harbor Historical Seaport, a nonprofit educational organization.  Apparently, the Lady Washington will be delayed because she's making a movie.  There was supposed to be a mock battle in the bay between the two ships but sadly that's been cancelled due to the Lady's late arrival.   I've seen her under full sail and it's a beautiful sight so I'm going to try and be in the right place at the right time tomorrow to see her sail into port.  I don't know, though -- you know how movie stars are.......
