Last day of term

Another monumental day today as it was P's last day of term before the summer holidays. I can't believe reception year has been and gone already!

I dropped P round to a friends early this morning and had A booked into nursery extra early. All this so I could then get to work early and finish early so I could be there at pick up time. I clocked in at 7:37 which must be a record for me! P had a good time with her friends. She enjoyed waking them both up and having breakfast with them.

She had a great last day at school and was buzzing when I went to pick her up. We said quite an emotional farewell to her teachers and they all said what a clever, kind and funny girl she is. Each child got a little goody bag and inside was a poem which really got the water works going!

As a special treat we then went for milkshakes and doughnuts at the new Krispy Kreme shop. Yum!
