Purple Pair

Those petunias from my pots were not my intended blip for today, as I had planned a walk with friend L. near Forfar.

We met for lunch as arranged, but then she had to dash off early as there was the small matter of a house to be bought (or not - I still don't know the outcome!)

She and A. had been looking at a new property but it had all gone quiet, so they weren't expecting any action soon.  However, a phone call from the vendor changed everything and an offer had to be made by noon today.  It was closed bids (a horrible Scottish system), so they have to wait to hear if they have been successful.  Fingers crossed for them!

So instead of a walk round a nature reserve, I did some shopping and came home!  Hence the garden blip.  Very hot this afternoon, so maybe it was a great escape:-)
