Glossop

This is Glossop Swimming Pool, just one of many interesting sites on a walk from Hadfield to Glossop, with Andy, Martin, Chris and, of course, Bruce.

Other highlights included the Butcher's in Hadfield, made famous as the location for the "special" butcher in League of Gentlemen - Hilary Briss. The streets of Old Glossop are less disturbing, so long as one overlooks the price list outside the Angling Supplies shop.

There are delightful parks where the environment is clearly respected. In the Town Centre, there are shops catering for the whole community and people were out in force looking for bargains.
