Summer's back again

After yesterday's thunderstorms it was a welcome return to sunshine and warmth, so Gill and I had a jaunt down to Lomond Shores at Balloch. While not as busy as my last few weekend visits, there were still plenty folk around enjoying the outdoors and the scenery.

The chap in the extra was just pouring himself a drink from his flask when the plastic bag beside him on the bench blew 'overboard' onto a ledge below. He cursed and muttered that there was something edible in the bag, then promptly climbed down to retrieve it.

Several weeks of being good dietwise have gone to pot in one 24-hour visit as Gill and I lead each other astray. Today's naughty nyummy was a summer berry scone with our coffee in the Jenners café. No regrets though - it was delumptious!
