Seaside... take two!

It was a tricky night... staying somewhere different for the first time, in a travel cot... 4 wake ups and a day that started at 5:30am today. It could have been better, but it could have been much worse too.

After breakfast and Baby L's first nap of the day we headed back to Camber Sands. It was less windy than yesterday but we still managed to drop her sunhat into the sea. Thankfully N retrieved it and we hung it up to dry.

We think Baby L enjoyed the feel of sand between her toes and her first little paddle in the sea. It all got a bit much after an hour of being on the beach so we headed off.

Home now.

All in all, we feel it was a successful trip away from home. Most importantly, we've proved we can do it. It felt like longer than one night away though.

It's my niece's 6th birthday today so hopefully we will call in and drop presents round later. Six years old? Where does the time go?!
