Red, red whine....
Turns out when you haven't drunk red wine for 11 months and you drink a third of a bottle, you get a really bad hangover. Always good to find these things out I find!
Thanks for all the lovely messages wishing me a good night out last night by the way. Twas very lovely indeed. Three girls, 2 bottles of wine and lots of tapas.
As we are all recent Mums, the conversation was understandably skewed somewhat towards our experiences of motherhood so far. But that was what made it so relaxed and enjoyable. I didn't need to worry that all the baby-talk was boring as I knew they were in the same boat.
Having said that I do have a tendency to go on and on (and on) about Audrey! A bit like I do on blip! Am sure it will wear off. God, I hope I'm not in training to be one of those bragging mothers. You can see how it happens. Gulp!
Today was a day for quiet, lots of telly, cups of tea, fresh air and some paracetamol. Thankfully Audrey fancied a quiet day too so we just chilled out together.
My husband went off to watch an Olympics match at Old Trafford so once I'd settled her, I made a quick dinner, got into my pyjamas and watched some bad telly.
Took today's blip pic of some graffiti on a shop hoarding in Chorlton. Its of Mr Manchester himself, Anthony H. Wilson, a personal hero of mine. Loved the quote, "Manchester kids have the best record collections". They sure do. And Audrey will have too if I have anything to do with it!
