Bass Rock

Most of the day was taken up looking after our poorly little girl who has 'that-bug-that's-going-around'. Shivery, feverish (40C), earache, nauseous. She's a very easy sick child to take care of though - quite happy with a warm bed, regular cuddles, glass of water and her ipod to watch movies on.

The other slightly depressing part of the day is our never-ending heating saga. The engineer came out today and pronounced a broken pump, which is what we had replaced last week. He replaced it again and left with everyone happy that all was well. Within 10 minutes, all was not well but it took the rest of the day to get in touch with the company. So, he's going to try and come out tomorrow on his way home from Yorkshire.... We'll see.
