SAKE brewery restaurant

This restaurant is located in Fushimi, the south of Kyoto. It takes about 30 minutes from JR Kyoto station. If you are interested in a Sake brewery, please come to this area and find your favorite sake.

The groundwater in this area can be used as the ingredient of Japanese sake. So it is the reason why there are some famous sake brewery in Fushimi.

This Sake brewery offered the people the groundwater in a corner of their property for free. When I visited this place, one old woman  got it from the tap. She told me, ”This water is very delicious, please take a taste of it. " I got a handful of water and sipped. Compared with the regular tap water, absolutely it was delicious. I had never expected to have such an experience. Although it was very hot, it was a pleasant one day tour for me.
