Necessity is the mother of invention....!

This idea was flashed into my mind when I took my mother for a drive to her nursing home. "By what means let a novice of tatting lace know the trick of making knot.

If a beginner of tatting lace can master it only by textbook, I admire her ( him ) from the bottom of my heart. I heard so many people gave it up because that they could not get the trick of making knot.

The trick is very simple. The tension of the thread of a shuttle is higher than that of a ball of thread.  We use the shuttle making knot, but as the thread of shuttle is pivot,  we can not see the thread of the shuttle after making knots.

Please regard the green spaghetti as a thread of a ball, regard the pink spaghetti as one of a shuttle.
