Crocosmia Lucifer

I have always had Montbretia in my garden since childhood visits to the South West of Ireland and the Ring of Kerry, where it grows freely, often in large banks at the foot of fuschia hedges.
Crocosmia Lucifer is a fancy hybrid of Montbretia which also seems to do well in the garden.
