The view

We slept very well on the boat in our accommodation below but feeling slightly fragile this morning!! A light breakfast and then a monumental walk/hike from Fowey, starting as foot passengers on the car ferry over  to Bodinick and then up a very steep hill (oh the pain, I'm so unfit) and  then the real walk/hike began through gorgeous woods with varying degrees of steepness  and descent but plenty of resting places along the way and some stunning views of Fowey.  Our walk/hike finished at the town of Polruan, a very interesting little place which still does some boat building and restoration.  We stopped here and ate Pasties and then caught the ferry back over to Fowey to get back on our boat for the 2 1/2 hour sail back to Mylor.  

It's been another glorious day.  Our friends did a lovely BBQ and we all had an earlier night!
