Nandina for some midwinter cheer

The bright red caught my eye so i just had to stop and capture the brilliant colour.
An extra to show a full bunch of berries.
This was a shrub about 2 metres tall. I had never seen so many berries on a nandina before.

Such a contrast today weather wise. No frost, so warm I could walk the block about 10am just in a skivvy.We had a power cut for about an hour at 7.20am. I had had breakfast and we didn't need a heater so I sat and got the crossword done.It was a widespread outage attributed to a switch at the Cobb Valley being faulty- they think.
