Keeping cool?

Can't really believe that this is what the swan family was up to - it was in no way a scorcher, rather cool, actually. So we were mystified as to why the swans made for the fountain, and stayed under it for some time, sharing it with a football which seemed trapped for eternity.

This is Gun Knowe Loch in Tweedbank where I was with a couple of my walking friends, D and L, on a gourmet tour taking in coffee at the Flat Cat Cafe in Lauder and then lunch (main course) at Hergés on the Loch with ice cream at Simply Delicious in Melrose. We ambled round Harmony Garden and Priorwood Garden, but didn't do nearly enough to use up the calories we had consumed.
