Back again?

The swans brought their little ones over to show off again this morning. It was as though they keenly crossed the entire length of the pond just to visit us. Again, stupidly, we had nothing to feed them, but there are still four cygnets and they are certainly worth showing off. They are utterly adorable.

I will pick up some pellets for ducks and geese ready for next weekend without fail. The pond is fenced off and I should be able to throw the pellets some distance into the water without encouraging the swans up onto the bank. This is impossible with spinach and I've yet to try gently-steamed-and-lovingly-chopped potato peel, but will do.
