Brecon Castle

Here I am in Brecon, mid Wales - it was a hot drive here this afternoon. This evening I have had some time to explore the town. It has a castle (visible to the right of this photo), old cathedral and a beautiful wide river with views to the mountains. The town looks as if it has an interesting history and has lots of twisting streets and characterful buildings. It feels a million miles from Hampshire.

I have a long day outside tomorrow so I will need to make sure I drink plenty and use some suntan cream. I hope you are all coping with the heat and enjoying the sunshine - I think all of us in the UK are due for some tomorrow.
