Spirit Lifting

I watched some videos about flower arraning this afternoon; inspired, I went into the garden and cut some of my sweet peas and pinks and placed them in a vase for the house.  I would like to grow more flowers for cutting.

Another morning spent working at the allotment, picking more peas and French beans.  It is very peaceful up there.  Then this afternoon I did more gardening.  The quantity of rain we have had this year means everything is growing very fast - I feel like I am only just managing to keep up with the grass cutting and weeding.  Today it was even warmer than yesterday - 26 degrees, and humid.  It is due to get even warmer - I am  not looking forward to that as I have to drive to Wales for work tomorrow.  I will be there for three days.
