This is Dorica Kaima, aged 15 and in Form 1
She is staying with her mother since her parents divorced when she was about 6 and in stdandard 1.
Her father is no where to be seen, so it is difficult for her mother to afford fees while she is taking care the other 4 children, two brothers and two sisters through selling vegetables.
Dorica was staying at home until the Teacher, Mr.Liomba met her mother and explained about Wells for Zoe's activities and encouraged her to go back to school.
Even though she started Form 1 late, she has gone from 32nd in her class of 64 to 17th

She walks about 25 minutes to Lupaso Primary School and could do better if she had better that her 50% attendance at Saturday School. She has to work at home and on the farm, so we are trying to support her Gogo so that Dorica can attend.
We just don't play fees, we give whatever support is needed, to enable the girls to attend school and whatever extra classes we put on.
