Lapwing, Vanellus vulgaris
Called in at the Nature Reserve thus afternoon. The tide was high and not many birds around so I didn't stay long. There was a flock of Lapwings which were quite noisy and active, but they were rather far out so my shot isn't all that sharp. There are not so many about as there were when I was a child. We used to call them Peeweets - I suppose that's easier for a child to say than 'Lapwing'!
