A lovely day out

Day out at Harlow Carr with daughter L and granddaughter M.  M wanted afternoon tea, so we decided to combine a visit to the gardens with afternoon tea at Betty's restaurant.  A lovely walk around the gardens spotting lots of flowers we would like to buy, followed by a wonderful afternoon tea (see extras).  Far too full, as we hadn't been eating much over the last few weeks, we then spent far too much money in the plant shop!  A lovely day out, culminating in a visit to our local pub where we had a great laugh with friends who happened to be in there.
