Champions!

And the new British champions are….

He's been on this podium twice before but never on the tall box for the gold medallists and British Champions. Until today. I thought this was the last race of the season before we got a bit of a break, but winning means they are now selected to represent England at the Home Countries Regatta (Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland) next weekend in Cardiff Bay. Who could say 'no' to an invitation to represent your country?

I wonder if they should have championships for athlete's mums? In which case - as I start laundry round no. 2 - I feel I could be in contention for a medal myself!
