Welcome to Scotland!

Shockingly this is my first trip to Scotland - a long drive from Oxford but made easier by sharing the driving with Jude. Every 4th year the British Rowing Champs are held in Scotland... so here we are in Strathclyde Park.

Shortly after we passed the first welcome to Scotland signs the motorway warning signs for 'Heavy Rain Expected' started the flash up. Oh joy! In fact it wasn't too bad weather-wise although as the boys set off for their first practice outing, they found waves that almost sank them at one point. The big race isn't until Sunday so they have  along boring day tomorrow training & resting, training & resting....
