Trumpet Gentians

...... are at their best just now and we saw so many of them on the way to the Pas de Cheveille above Solalex. We had gone up to meet my first Head of Department who celebrates his 70th birthday on Friday. He and his wife and daughter (see extra) are doing the Tour des Muverans as a celebration walk. It was so good to see them and we shall join them again on Wednesday and bring them back for lunch on Thursday.
