such an ace day. me and bee sneaked off in the morning (no one wanted to come with us) and we went up arthur's seat....with hundreds of tourists. it was ridiculously busy at the top! then down the other side and up the royal mile a bit to ragamuffin where I totally indulged myself and bought a couple of very expensive cardis. we sat in the sun for coffee the went back to the flat to get the kids and head out again. beth and ronan went their own way armed with a map I'd drawn them then once we'd found a frisbee for peggo we headed down to the gardens for food and a play. it was roasting. we tried to find a cinema with ghostbusters on, but were too late, so we walked back to the flat at night to veg out. we walked 16 miles today! nae bad...

we've had such an ace wee holiday.
