Flash Test

Did some testing of the flash this evening. Seems to work fine, it may not be as diffuse as some bought diffusers but it is a great improvement on plain old flash. Of course it is being fired wirelessly from the side which is also an improvement over an on-camera flash. I'd like to try some portraits with it but Jen is choked with cold at the minute and is unwilling to sit in front of the camera, very understandable.

Made a Byriani today, which turned out to be a bit of a disappointment, the lamb didn't quite get soft enough, though it was very tasty. I think I should have adjusted the cooking times as the recipe called for leg of lamb and I was using diced neck fillet.
