Hadrian's Wall

This weekend I'm on a Pilgrimage of the Northern Saints based in Durham. Today we drove through scenic County Durham into Northumberland and spent the morning exploring Hexham and its Abbey founded by Wilfrid. The afternoon was spent at Housesteads Fort and walking along the wall. After dinner this evening we have entertainment from a player of Northumberland Pipes
