Our Day Out for Vicky's birthday

We always try to have a birthday treat on Vicky's birthday, doing something she enjoyed. Often it is a walk by the sea, or a visit to the cinema or theatre.

This time, on her sisters' advice, we went to see "Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour" which was on at the Theatre Royal in Newcastle. It was hilarious, funny, rude, poignant with beautiful singing. The theatre was full. Half the audience were in stitches and the rest remained poo-faced. Maybe they struggled with the Scottish accents or maybe it was just too naughty. We enjoyed it and so would she. This would do for an abstract - the stage backdrop)

(I had a visit to hospital first to see someone about my Osteo-arthritis in my foot. They are going to send me an insole for my shoe, but there is nothing else can be done - wear and tear. Keep taking the drugs! Well if I need them for longer walks)

Thank you for your kind comments yesterday. I do appreciate the virtual hugs.
