Massey Ferguson

was a major agricultural equipment manufacturer formed in 1958 and based in Brantford, Ontario. The original firm was founded in 1847 in Newcastle, Ontario by Daniel Massey as the Newcastle Foundry and Machine Manufactory.

In 1958 the first Massey Ferguson branded tractor rolled off the factory floor. Massively popular they sold across the UK, Australia, and the United States.

This wee workhorse at Camphill Blair Drummond was registered in 1966 and is still going strong on a daily basis.

I went for a walk around the estate at lunchtime in search of a blip. When I came upon the tractor I liked the shadows around it and the sun streaming invitingly through the open door leading to the the courtyard.
