We had an outing to Fife today. Mr KT will be leading a cycle tour in the area in a couple of weeks time so thought it would be quite handy if he knew where he was going.
Headed over to Elie first and did the Chain Walk along the rocky coast. We did this year's ago but I hadn't really remembered how much fun it was. The tide was out which meant we could walk below some of the cliffs. We headed out in sunshine but of course got caught out in a downpour and returned to the car soaked to the skin.
But, we continued our tour on to St Monans where we found this bizarre garden. Then on to Pittenweem, Anstruther and St Andrews. The town was busy with tourists, but I guess it always is. We wandered through town and down to the Old Course so that Mr KT would know which direction to send his clients off to for historic sites and photo opportunities.
Our return trip was via some lovely windy country roads which I think the cycle tour will thoroughly enjoy. Glad I wasn't pedalling up some of those hills.
