Around the North and West of the island

A terrific day. Clear blue skies, sparkle, and a softening breeze, the less visited coastline was sublime.

This view is looking to the west, over "the Bride's veil" waterfall, and over to Ponte Delgada.

We headed to Porto Moniz, Santa, the marvellous Paul do Mar, and through stunning carefully tended groves and the Laurasilva forest.

This is why I love this island.
